"Here"

I was thinking about school, when the teacher would do roll-call. Some kids would say "present" but if I put that as my title everyone would think that I got something fun and then be disappointed. Then I remembered how some kids, in Vallejo, would say "president" because they added an extra syllable to everything. But if that was my title, one might expect a post about Obama. Instead I am simply "Here."

I am ashamed. It's been over 2 weeks since my last post. How dare I call myself a blogger!? The simple truth is this: I've had nothing to talk about.

Now don't get me wrong. We've been busy. I've been a sewing- but that's on another blog. We've had company- that's on another blog, too. (thanks, Mel) I'm not great at 'journal' type posting because I rarely load pix onto the comp. Usually I use my blog as an outlet to gripe. And quite frankly, I just don't have a lot to gripe about these days.

I know, it's darn near a miracle isn't it! ;o)
