Mechanic for life

Just thought I would update everyone on the shop sale and answer a few questions. It's not going to happen. We finally heard from the bank on friday and they said with the economy the way that it is they don't think it's a good move for them to make. Am I surprised? Not at all. In fact, I think they were stalling all along just to see what was going to happen in the world. Are we bummed? Yeah, a little, however both Gilbert and I decided last week that we felt good about things either way. It was just a matter of having an answer. If it had sold we would have been able to payoff a lot of things, but then we would be stressing about a monthly income. Now we don't get to pay those things off, and we still have to worry about our monthly income, althought not quite as much. I think things are going to be fine. A friend heard a news story that people aren't buying new cars, so they're keeping their old ones longer. Which means, they'll need maintenance. They're actually projecting a 30% increase in the car repair industry. I guess that's good news for us. Anyway, we've always been blessed so much with the work we've been able to have and I have faith it will continue. Thought you all would like to know. Bye for now!

p.s.- Pictures and update from Vegas to come!!

I'm sure it will all work out. Everyone is hurting in some way or another we all just have to keep the faith and keep going!:) It's a great time to build up a large client base and they will keep coming back even after things get better.

Sometimes it's just not the right timing for the BIG GUY.We've had that issue before (ie. Cohen). And now, i have to accept that it's not the right time for me to have a house (because I can't find one that is right or affordable). So, I'm sure it's for your good, you just don't know it yet! (ie. Cohen...can't imagine life without him)
