PARIS!

Can anyone out there tell me what to do with my 3 yr. old. I just can't take it anymore this crazy girl. In addition to the other crazy things I've posted about, a couple days ago Paris and her friend Chantel decided to play in concrete powder in the garage. After being scolded we separated the girls for the rest of the day. The following day, after only being together for 5 min. Paris had anti-itch cream in her hair and they both had it all up and down their arms. That play-date ended short and again, Paris received a stern lecture and a time-out.

Which brings me to TODAY! What a temper. After picking Paris up from school and running a couple errands (Library, Bank, Post Office) we came home to havve lunch before a scheduled play-date at the park. A place I decided would provide less for Paris to get into and destroy. Unfortunately I wasn't getting Paris lunch fast enough for her liking so she threw a Costco- sized container of mustard on the ktchen floor....right under the table. AAARRRGGGHH! 10 min. in the corner followed by an hour in her room as well as discussions about what is appropriate behavior in our home. I just don't know what to do with her.

A little while later I found Paris sitting on my bed with "Sesame Street" on the TV, folding her laundry. She said "Mommy, I'm folding my clothes." She was doing a GREAT job and I praised her so much for it. Then she says "Mommy, don't you love it when I do things that make you happy!?"
All I could do is scoop her up and love on her! What a girl!

lol. What a wonderful little menace! Just when you're ready to send her packing, she's helpful! Go figure!I was wondering why I hadn't heard from you lately but now I know it's because you're cleaning up after all her messes!

Seriously, check out that book about Parenting Defiant Children. Still haven't finished, but I like it so far.

They know how to keep you going don't they?!? If it wasn't for those little, and I do mean far and inbetween little, moments where they show us why we love them so much we might just give them to the circus! She sounds like a handful. All I can say is good luck!
